In 2020, Fairways were requested by Blaby District Council to turn the Blaby Ice House, a 180 year old Grade II listed building, into a major attraction for visitors from the area and beyond.

The nine-month project saw the Building Team implement a brand new retaining structure, a new dome cap and repair a significant crack within the building itself.  Our Landscaping Team assisted with an initial unearthing of the Ice House in order to understand the overall integrity of the structure, before returning the mound, seeding and final touches ahead of its re-opening to the public.
